Knowledge Requirements: G2 Ops is seeking a skilled Cloud Architect for an exciting opportunity to lead the development of data tracts and containerization within the Government cloud infrastructure. This opportunity features a growing team of motivated and technically skilled contributors, the ability to travel to domestic and international locations, and experience integrating cutting-edge technology like unmanned systems, AI/ML, and data compilation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, containerization technologies, and data management. This role will bring significant job satisfaction to anyone interested in ensuring the seamless deployment, scaling, and management of applications in a cloud environment to support the Department of Navy’s fleet operations and exercises.

Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $135,000 and goes up to $160,000 based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family. You should be based in or around Charleston, South Carolina where you will primarily work from home but will be required to travel to the government client site and various locations approximately 25% of the time. However, this need may surge based on customer needs.

This exciting position will have the chance to work on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to cloud computing, containerization technologies, and data management.

What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in Cloud execution, such as the Design, develop, and implementation of cloud-based data tracts to optimize data storage, retrieval, and management. Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and/or Google cloud. Strong containerization experience and solid understanding of data management practices and technologies.
Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret level clearance.
